Wendy Robbins Thesis Presentation March 23

MIS student Wendy Robbins will present her thesis-in-progress as part of the next research talk at ESIS on Wednesday March 23. The thesis is about public library services to an aging population; the title is "A Place for Us? Baby boomers, their elders, and the public library." A small qualitative research project to learn more about this particular subset of library patrons (boomers who provide care or companionship to elders) will be underway soon.

Wendy began the MIS program in January 2009 as a part time student; following her retirement last winter from a long career as a radio and television producer and executive producer with the CBC, she switched to full-time studies, and hopes to have it all wrapped up next fall.
